Several weeks have passed since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The destruction is incalculable, the country is unrecognizable, but its citizens are still standing and ready to do anything to preserve the honor of their country.

Among the fighters on the front lines there is Vitali Klitschko, the former world champion of boxing and the mayor of the Ukrainian capital since 2014. He is accompanied in particular by his brother Vladimir, who is also a former world champion, trying to fend off the Russians, but also makes the rest of the planet aware of the current situation.

Active on his Twitter account, Klitschko is appealing to the people of the world to come to their aid. On Monday, he posted two videos on his page of more than 670,000 subscribers.

The first shows the extent of the devastation. He initially said, “This is what a Russian war on civilians looks like. It destroys buildings, destroys infrastructure. A bus has just been hit by rocket-propelled grenades, killing lives. This is the war that Russia started.”
