To convince professionals to adopt its new operating system, Microsoft has just revealed new functions brought to Windows 11 that should make the system more secure and more suitable for productivity.
Windows 11 was launched at the end of 2021, and it should already undergo modifications. At a conference dedicated to business and hybrid, Microsoft announced, in fact, new features that should be of interest to professionals. First, it integrates Windows Cloud PC directly into Windows 11. The Cloud PC offering gives businesses direct access to a PC running in the cloud. Soon, Windows 11 can sync directly with a PC in the cloud and allow switching a local PC to a Cloud PC with a single click from the taskbar, or even boot directly to a Cloud PC without going through the Windows 11 desktop.
Redesigned file explorer with tabs
Another novelty: Manage tabs in File Explorer so you can quickly move from one folder to another by simply changing tabs. Windows 11 will also have a new home page with a favorites section to make it easier to access your favorite files. It is enough to right-click on any file to add it to this new partition. Finally, administrators will soon be able to send notifications directly to the desktops of their collaborators, from the Endpoint Manager admin center.
