When CDPHE first reported the outbreak last week, Denny Warnick, vice president of In-N-Out Operations, said affected employees and those in contact with them were “excluded from the workplace.”

“Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our customers and partners. We are committed to doing our part to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus,” Warnick said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with our partners and we hope for a speedy recovery for all of those affected.”

In-N-Out confirmed that it will work with public health agencies to take the next “appropriate” steps.

Shortly after the additional cases were reported, Warnick issued another statement, pledging to “stay committed to do our part” to prevent the spread of the virus.

“While reporting COVID-19 cases is subject to delays while collecting data, at the moment we are seeing a significant improvement in the number of our partners who have tested positive for COVID-19 in both locations in Colorado. To keep our teams as safe as possible, ”Warnick wrote in a statement shared with Fox News.

“We continue to work closely with our public health agencies to review and confirm that the proactive steps we take are appropriate and effective in protecting our communities. Some of these precautions include limiting staff to the minimum number necessary, using employee“ groups ”to limit potential exposure, and to limit “Access to the dining room for takeout orders only to ensure adequate physical distancing. If an employee’s test result is positive, we take immediate steps to identify anyone who may have had close contact with the individual and exclude them from work.”

A representative for In-N-Out declined to comment on whether Colorado restaurants will remain open.
