Thus, middle school students and children from primary schools in Eymoutiers, Bujaleuf and Peyrat-le-Château were able to discover the world of science thanks to the mobile laboratory called Scientibus.
Unique and born in the early 2000s to combat the growing discontent with science, this “bus” offers an original approach to science, fun and engaging. This bus aims to arouse the curiosity of the public in general and young people in particular; It brings enrichment of scientific culture. It also allows PhD students to learn to communicate about science with the aim of making it more accessible to everyone.
Thus nearly three hundred students, their teachers and even librarians were able to carry out amazing and amazing experiments that enabled them to get closer to many scientific concepts in fields as diverse as chemistry, biology or even geology, for example.

With the support of the Académie Limoges, this mobile bus that brings scientific culture closer to students and adults is run by several people including Frédéric Lordour, Professor in the Physics Department of the Limoges School of Sciences.
