Do Montebello’s voice will light up the lunar summer

She has been singing since childhood. But during her childhood in Algeria, she really got carried away with singing.

“There is nothing reserved, there is a kind of freedom that makes everyone sing, especially women. But above all it was my love for words that led me to sing,” translates du Montbelle. A singer yes, but above all a citizen without narrow borders, she expresses a deep desire to work on the world.

Boundless music

Through her creations she raises her voice that celebrates life and harmony among human beings. Do Montebello sings in French, English and Portuguese and presents music without borders with jazz, music from northern Brazil and classical music. In short, this wonderful compendium of world music. A life marked by encounters and unexpected for those who, from now on, set their bags in Lunac, while navigating the phases of the planet. A duality that offers balance and breath to this exceptional artist.

Didn’t Télérama magazine write about her: “Carried by the swing of her musicians (guitars, cello, double bass and accordion), her clear and languid voice caresses the multilingual Brazilian shores (Portuguese, English, French) and sighs the most delicate songs of his new group: jazz wandering in weightlessness, sealed in the record Birdyheart”.

Something that keeps the curious public’s mouths eager to find out. His musical environment created by guitars, mainly acoustic or subtle electrified, double bass, here and there cello, accordion, do Montebello interprets fifteen songs soft, poignant, sound accurate in phrasing, strumming. Covers by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Edo Lobo or Horace Silver and his own compositions.
