The Rotary Club of Carmo is organizing a tour around Lake Rukari on October 8, and the profits will be used in the fight against polio.
On Sunday, October 8, come take a ride on Lake Rockari to put an end to polio. What is polio? Remember, polio is a highly contagious disease caused by a virus (poliovirus) that invades the nervous system and can cause irreversible paralysis within a few hours.
Since the 1960s, this disease has been preventable thanks to effective vaccines. From 8:30am, move to the Puech de la Joie Room for a welcome coffee provided by the Carmaux Rotary Club.
Then, depart at 9am to choose from three walking tours (7, 9 and 12 km) around Lake Rockari. At midday, after your walk, you can share a complimentary aperitif and, upon reservation, enjoy a meal with the “Veal and truffle from Aveyron” menu.
The registration fee for the trip is €5, and it is free for children under 12 years old. This amount will be donated to Rotary’s efforts to eradicate polio worldwide. Registration fee for the meal is €15, €10 for children under 12 years old. To register, you can log in to hummingbirds.link/mSXym
