Xande Silva was loaned out this summer to Atlanta United (MLS), and will not return to DFCO, after the American club decided to exercise its purchase option.

DFCO announced on Monday the transfer of Xande Silva permanently to Atalanta, a club he has been playing for since August on loan.
His franchise was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs in Game 3 by Columbus (2-4). With Atalanta, Xande Silva played thirteen matches, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Upon his arrival from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2022, the Portuguese winger made 32 competitive appearances for DFCO, scoring 6 goals and making 3 assists. Statistics that did not prevent the Dijon club from being relegated to National at the end of the 2022-2023 financial year.
