The body of a woman missing for nearly 10 years was found last month in a freezer in San Diego, California.

On Dec. 22 at approximately 11:45 a.m., police were called to a building on Zion Street regarding a possible death.
“Basically, family members from out of town were at a house and found a body inside a freezer. “They called police immediately,” the San Diego Police Department said.
After an autopsy, investigators were able to declare that these were the remains of Margaret Haxby-Jones. The woman, now 81, was reported missing nine years ago. According to preliminary information, she may have been living at one time or another in the house where she was found.
“The cause of death has not been determined and is still under investigation by the coroner’s office. The police added that no obvious injury was observed on the body, explaining that an investigation has been opened taking into account the circumstances in which the master lived.I Haxby Jones has been found.
