A WOMAN who turned her house into a “giant doll's house” says she is having difficulty finding a new owner.
In 1987, Mary Rose Young bought her house in Lydney, United Kingdom, for approximately 44,000 Canadian dollars.
After that, Mrs. Young redecorated her house, transforming it in an extreme way!
Mrs Young and her husband Phil Butcher have been trying to sell the house since 2014, but it is very difficult to find buyers…
Real estate agents estimate the home's value to be at least $365,000 Canadian dollars, but all potential buyers say they are bothered by its distinctive decor.
While many people have advised Ms. Young to redesign the house in a more sober way, the owner says she finds it difficult to erase her “life’s work.”
While Ms Young emphasized that she still loves her home, she explained: “I have arranged this house around my lifestyle and I have never seen it as something that can be sold. We live here like two children in a doll's house, and looking back, why would anyone want to buy it? She Theater for children.”
The artist concluded his speech, recalling one of the rare visits made by potential buyers: “Someone came to visit and looked at it, but he did not stay long.”
