As its name suggests, the famous rock festival originated in the Brazilian party capital, Rio. It soon expanded to several other locations, including the capital of Portugal. This is how rock music was founded in Rio Lisbon in 2004. Although a long time has passed since the opening ceremony of Rio de Janeiro in 1985, it is still a big event. Since then, the Portuguese version has evolved into an extraordinary concert that brings together world-famous stars of all genres, from rock legends to contemporary pop stars, as well as tens of thousands of partygoers in front of its stage.
