Portuguese Pepe ends career at 41 – rts.ch

The 41-year-old Portuguese international Pepe announced the end of his career in a video clip posted on social media.

Born in Brazil, Kepler Laveran Lima Ferreira, his real name, arrived in Portugal at the age of 18, starting his professional career at Marítimo de Madeira. After a first spell at Porto (2004-2007), he played for 10 years at Real Madrid, notably winning the 2016 European Championship and three Champions League titles with the 'White House' (2014, 2016, 2017).
