Beaumont de Lomagny. Tourism meets science

Beaumont de Lomagny. Tourism meets science

How can we reconcile the disadvantages of rurality, particularly punished by distance from major cultural centers in the urban environment, with tourism policy? To achieve this, it is necessary to highlight the advantages of the Tarn and Garonnet sites spread in the heart of a landscape that is as diverse as it is wonderful. This is what the team of the Tarn et Garonne Tourism Development Agency (ADT), headed by Anne Eeus and managed by Richard Rambourd, is working on with remarkable efficiency. Under their leadership, an all-terrain team, full of invention and dynamism, which has given itself the mission of making everyone aware of what is great about this department, supports initiatives, drives new dynamics and highlights the discoveries to be made, both for residents of the territory and for tourists.

Uninterrupted support

ADT's ongoing support for the new Fermat Museum, located in his hometown, which opened its doors in July this year, in the home of the great mathematician, follows this logic. Visits from journalists, photo and video reports, production of clips, invitations to influencers, all means were used to raise awareness about the structure of the new museum and enable it to pass through the first period of its existence without pain.

Dates to remember

Through Sunday, November 3, the museum will be open to the general public Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. During this period, the museum will participate in a site trivia game presented by the ADT Sites Club. It's about going on an adventure to the tourist sites of Tarn-et-Garonne and becoming a detective to solve the proposed mysteries. Two levels: children from 7 to 12 years old, and adults.
