In an interview on Fox News on Tuesday, Melania Trump described the comparisons between the former president and the leader of Nazi Germany as “horrific.”
She added: “He is not Hitler and all his supporters support him because they want to see their country succeed.”
“People see what's happening in their country and they know what kind of leader they want,” she added. “They want prosperity, and they want the American dream back.”
The former First Lady also confirmed, as he himself did at the beginning of the month during the publication of Melania Trump's memoirs, that her husband was “not surprised at all” by the position she expresses in favor of the right to abortion.
