The governor of the region announced on Saturday that two drones damaged a building that runs an oil pipeline in the Pskov region in western Russia, in another incident in a series of attacks carried out on Russian territory in recent days.

The explosion is the latest in a series of airstrikes in Russia in recent weeks.
“Early in the morning, an explosion destroyed the administration building of the pipeline near Litvinovo, in the Nevelsky district,” said Governor Mikhail Vedernikov, about ten kilometers from the border with Belarus.
Soon after, he added that according to preliminary information, “the building was damaged following an attack by two drones.”
No injuries were reported and the investigation is still ongoing.
According to unconfirmed reports published by the Russian media agency Baza on Telegram with intelligence sources, the drones targeted the Transneft oil pumping station in Pskov.
Baza also reported a drone attack targeting another oil station in the Tver region, northwest of Moscow.
In a statement, the regional government, for its part, simply stated that “a drone fell” near the village of Erokino, without causing any casualties. He did not provide further details about the circumstances of the accident.
Finally, the Belgorod region, which was the target of a stunning armed incursion from Ukraine earlier this week, suffered fresh strikes in a village near the border, according to a message from its governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on Telegram on Saturday.
The commander did not report any casualties at this point.
In recent weeks, reports of drone attacks have increased in Russia, usually in regions bordering Ukraine.
On Friday, two drones damaged buildings in the city center of Krasnodar, in southern Russia.
Moscow has blamed Kiev – and its Western backers – for the growing number of attacks and sabotage. In general, Ukraine denies these accusations.
