A Portuguese scooter rider dies in Saint-Gingolf
A sixty-year-old man, who was traveling on the road leading to Bouveret (VS), died after being hit by a car on Saturday.

A 62-year-old Portuguese man riding a motorcycle lost his life in Sant Gingolf (VS) on Saturday. He collided with the front of his two-wheeler with a car in front of him. He died at the scene despite the treatment provided.
The car involved in the accident was driven by a 76-year-old Swiss woman.
Valais police said on Sunday that the collision occurred at around 7:20 pm on the Canton Road towards Bouveret. An investigation was opened to determine the exact causes of the accident.
