theTavira City Councilin the Faro region, launched the Ideas in Mare programme, targeting young entrepreneurs who want to innovate, explore new areas of economic growth and contribute to a sustainable future.
The initiative is open to residents or indigenous people of Tavira, between the ages of 18 and 35, and applications are open until October 10, the municipality said in a press release.
The program aims to “invest in the ideas of young entrepreneurs and provide them with the necessary tools to develop projects that have an impact on the municipality’s economy,” as stated in the press release.
In the Orçament 2022/23 sequence, the idea came from the inspiration of the “Academia de Ideias”, which started the “Ideias à Maré” programme.

Depending on the municipality, the top 10 applications will be selected to enter the programme, with the others accepted into the reserve group.
