Cooling system a good idea?
The first thing that distinguishes Gamesir X3 TC from other consoles in this genre is that it has an integrated cooling system to prevent your mobile device from overheating. The idea is interesting, but we quickly realize that it is rather limited. In fact, the cooling system turns on when connected to the USB-C cable, and shuts off when unplugged. This is the only way to operate this system, which means that it can only be used in situations where you can plug in without moving.
The good side of the cooling system is that it gives the console a certain width and heaviness that gives you the feeling of holding something solid in your hand, without it being too heavy.
Opening the box reveals that it includes alternate buttons, joystick heads, and different layouts, allowing players to customize their experience with the console. It also comes with a protective carrying case.
Solid built console
Visually, the console looks good; It looks solid and when you take it in hand, you can see that it is. Its casing and buttons, the feel you press, and the sound they make, all give the impression of a well-built console in your hand that will last. Best controller of its kind?
The Gamesir X3 Type-C is a great product; Although the cooling system that has to be connected is a bit frustrating. However, I never had a problem with my mobile device getting hot while playing with a controller. I can’t say if Gamesir X3 TC is the best gamepad of its kind, but I can definitely say it’s the best option I’ve tested for Android devices. Of course, you have to check which hardware is compatible with this console.
In short, if you are on Android and want to play mobile games more seriously, Gamesir X3 TC is a very good choice.
