The end of the year is set to be epic and mysterious with one of the most anticipated sci-fi series: “Dune: Prophecy” has been revealed with a promising new trailer. Travis Fimmel (Vikings) and Emily Watson (Chernobyl) are in the cast.
Note to fans of Denis Villeneuve's Dune series: You'll have to wait until the third installment of Paul (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya) adventures with a new fantasy story that is part of the world of the film adaptation of Frank Herbert's monumental literary work.
In the form of a prequel series, this new fantasy takes place 10,000 years before the first feature film, and will highlight a large female community in the Dune: Bene Gesserit universe.
Dune: Prophecy follows sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and establish the legendary sect known as the Bene Gesserit.

Command this day, this series has six chapters on your screens on the MAX platform and a new band-announcement that was recently teased by this thriller SF Prometteur, which can now do a part of the fiction in the most recent events at the end the year.
We won’t have to wait much longer since HBO and MAX have revealed that Dune: Prophecy will be available on the platform starting in November. Allison Schapker (Pseudonym, Fringe) is serving as showrunner, screenwriter and producer on the Dune prequel, following several departures and artistic disputes in production.
This long-gestating final version of Dune: Prophecy, which feels closer to the aesthetics and artistic direction of Villeneuve's films, features some great names in the cast including Emily Watson (Chernobyl), Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Mark Strong (Kingsman), Olivia Williams (The Crown), Sarah Sophie Bousnina (1864), Chris Mason (Broadchurch), and Jodhi May (The Witcher).
The series is inspired by the novel. Sisters Community Written by Brian Herbert (son of Frank Herbert) and Kevin J. Anderson, it promises an uncompromising political and mystical thriller with plenty of twists, turns, low blows, and stunning romantic intrigue.
