Tuesday 5 September

Quite a few tricolors in the running for the rest of this first round with Laurent Lecoli beating Ugo Blanchett 7/6, 7/5. Maxime Janvier knocks out American qualifier Christian Langmo 6/3 6/3.

Lukas Bolin makes a surprise by defeating Benjamin Ponzi, who had just returned from New York, with a score of 6/3 and 6/1. Liam Brodie (GBR, TDS 2) punishes Dan Added 6/0 6/2.

We end with Alexander Muller’s victory 6/3, 2/6, 7/5 over Portuguese Joao Sousa.

Wednesday 6 September

The first part of the 1/8 finals with the success of Liam Brodie TDS 2 against the Portuguese Frederico Ferreira Silva 6/2 6/2. Tomas Machak, TDS 4, won 6/4 6/4 over Nicholas Mejia (COL).

Alejandro Moro Cañas, 22, ATP 285, eliminates TDS 8 Federico Gaio (ITA) 6/3 6/2 and Billy Harris eliminates Dane Marvin Müller logically 6/1 7/5.

Thursday 7 September

The 1/8 finals continue with a new performance by Lucas Poulin, ATP 318, winner over Charles Broome, British qualifier, 7/6, 6/4. Alexander Muller expels Laurent Lecoli 6/3 6/2.
