jerseys
Benfica and Adidas have presented the new jersey, faithful to the SLB tradition, which Lisbon players will wear during the 2022-2023 season.
FC Porto has already presented its home shirt for the new season 2022-2023, and it is now up to Benfica to follow in the footsteps of its rival, on Friday, by unveiling its new base kit, still designed by Adidas, the equipment supplier. The club is from the Portuguese capital since 1995-1996.
As in recent years, as evidenced by the jacket Lisbon residents have been wearing over the past season, the three-striped brand has taken to honoring SLB’s traditional colors. Thus red and white are once again honored in this new outfit.
Classic for always classy style
The German company has once again designed a relatively simple and clean shirt, featuring the shirt’s main sponsor, Fly Emirates, and the inscription “Emirates Fly Better” (since 2015) in white, along with its own logo. Several touches of white have been added to this new home collection for the residents of Estádio da Luz, at the collar and shoulder level (with the three non-removable straps) as well as on part of the end of the sleeves.
So Diabus Vermelhaus will not be out of place with this new shirt that Roger Schmidt’s men will wear throughout the 2022-2023 financial year at home.
