Seven young people accompanied by the local Tarn Sud Mission, based in Castres, on a professional integration course, currently undergoing training in a company in Lisbon from 3 June until 1 July. International Mobility Reviewers from the local mission were present for the first few days to meet host companies and guide them in their discovery of the Portuguese capital. The Erasmus+ program allows young Europeans under the age of 30, with or without a diploma, to stay abroad to strengthen their skills and increase their employability. The local mission Tarn Sud, in partnership with the Occitanie region, the organizations Parcours Le monde Sud-Ouest (Toulouse) and Euroyouth Portugal (Lisbon), has made it possible for Evy, Florent, Lucie, Maxime, Nicolas, Nina and Yannis to carry out an internship in Lisbon in the vocational sector which they choose. An equestrian center, a kindergarten, a mining company, a multi-sport training room and an IT start-up company welcome and support them with practical training related to their professional project. Introductory courses in the Portuguese language will facilitate their integration, and the cultural visit will allow them to discover the cities of Sintra and Cascais, around Lisbon.
