Roberto Firmino could meet again with Cristiano Ronaldo in victory, according to the journalist.
Since his acrimonious departure from Manchester United last November, Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t always smelled saintly.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner stormed the tunnel last night, to withstand the water battles on his way, as Al-Nassr lost 1-0 to its rivals for the Al-Ittihad title in the Saudi Professional Football League.
It was the second match in a row that the 38-year-old had failed to score, as Al Ittihad goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe heroically saved a strike from the Portugal international in stoppage time.
However, Ronaldo, who has scored eight goals in seven league appearances for the Saudi side, may take some comfort from reports that Liverpool star Firmino could join him at Al-Nassr at the end of the season.
Firmino for victory
In his Caught Offside column, journalist Ben Jacobs claimed Firmino had interest from Atlanta United (MLS) and Al Nasr.
It was announced last week that the Brazilian will leave Liverpool at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Regarding the potential destinations for the 31-year-old player, Jacobs said: “Al-Nassr is interested and is also looking forward to Paris Saint-Germain player Sergio Ramos: “Al-Nassr is also interested and is also looking to Paris Saint-Germain’s Sergio Ramos, which shows the kind of stars they made. want to bring with him [Cristiano] Ronaldo.
