The Photo Forum organizes the nineteenth session of its festival Crossroads of Motion Picture From December 9 to 15, 2022. For a whole week, the Parisian institution will celebrate the diversity of animated cinema by bringing together filmmakers, professionals, young talents and passionate audiences. Programming Crossroads Animation Festival It will be selective: feature films and short films in preview, extraordinary encounters, “Japanese” performances, a focus on “politics and animation,” a selection of student films, and a dive into the “Animation Factory.”

Every year, the festival brings together professionals and fans of animation to discover highly anticipated projects, meet the creators and thus dive behind the scenes of animation. The young director will receive Carrefour du cinema d’animation Gents Zlipalodes who will present the first drafts of his film flow. The festival will highlight the studio blue soulthe pioneer of French animation.
The Photo Forum will also show around thirty short films recently produced by French animation studios.

Finally, Carrefour du Cinéma d’Animation is committed to broadcasting international works with unique perspectives around the world. We will find in particular the feature film Chun Tae-il: A living flamean animated film about an important figure in the class struggle in South Korea in the 1960s, or so run away which traces the battle of a gay man forced to flee Afghanistan.
