How did you become president?

Patrice Dalla Beta: Care…

How did you become president?

Patrice Dalla Beta: The Patronage Bazadais, who had some administrative difficulties, asked me to help them. I simply responded positively to this call for help from friends.

Jerome Lawrence: After two previous experiences as US President Lübeck, then Vice President of CA Pondaurat, local elected officials, municipal leaders and respective clubs turned to me when the merger took place in 2019 at FC Pays Aurossais. I immediately believed in this project and accepted the challenge!

Business leaders and club heads, do you like responsibilities?

PDP I don’t run away from them. Football has given me so much as a player that I considered it my duty to give back.

c. Above all, I am passionate about football and human relations! Football is my escape, my oxygen bubble. It allows me to take myself out of the professional context.

Are you satisfied with the start of the season for your teams?

PDP We almost literally follow our schedule. We can still improve a few things, but overall, all categories combined, the results live up to our expectations. The administrative and teaching teams, both dynamic and united, are doing a good job.

c. Our start to the season, despite the last day’s snag, is satisfactory for the flag team. The other club teams are doing very well, while the atmosphere inside the FCPA is excellent.

Do you share information about your competitors in Pool E?

PDP naturally ! Jerome in particular is the one who calls me every Monday to remind me he won! Most seriously, yes indeed we share a lot of useful information.

c. I assure you that we are regularly questioned by invoking the general characteristics of our adversaries!

Do you allow yourself to talk about football days before you face off?

PDP surely. We’ll even talk about it more than usual, but maybe in a different tone!

c. Of course there is no problem. On the day of the match, we will have lunch together between the captains of the two clubs.

Would you go so far as to indulge yourself, or even engage your collaborators in this pre-match atmosphere?

PDP We sleep all year round, so we’re just going to get the derby ready. Especially since Jerome is under pressure! Our Secretary Elodie, who loves football, will attend the match but, for diplomatic reasons, refuses to show her preferences!

c. Ah yes, I love the bedroom! We don’t take ourselves too seriously, it’s friendly. Our collaborators, for the time being, prefer to observe benevolent neutrality.

your expectations?

P.D. 1-0 in favor of Bazas with a goal scored in 94e the moment. It is more painful!

c. I feel a draw: 0 to 0 or 1 to 1.

It’s former Girondins de Bordeaux captain François Grenier, the godfather of FC Pays Aurossais, who kicks off on Sunday, 3pm, in the garden of the Municipal Stadium in Bondurat.
