The 13th edition of Dragons Desjardins was held for the Thetford area on February 15 In the Library Polivalente de Black Lake.

About fifteen projects were presented to the local Dragons Committee, made up of four entrepreneurs from the area and a representative from Desjardins. Following the presentations, the aspiring dragons were invited to participate in the recognition ceremony held the same evening at Lake Polivaliente de Black.

The Dragons Favorite Award was given to the company's Alexandre Bernard Radon removal. After it was announced that someone close to him had been diagnosed with cancer, he became aware of the impact that basement radon contamination could have on people's health. Therefore, it has developed an integrated service to assess the level of pollution and provide a final solution to eliminate the leakage of this gas.

From Black Lake High School, First cast Won the Desjardins Favorite Award. The team consists of Dylan Cadoret, Perrin Croteau, Charles Marois and Mia Perron. The project was born from the passion for hunting that involved two young men in the team. The company offers to create fishing lures, completely customized and made from recycled materials. By winning this award, they earn an invitation to attend the next Zénith Gala in order to collect their prized trophy in front of other entrepreneurs in the region.

Finally, Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi de Frontenac awarded three scholarships to highlight the perseverance and commitment of the teams during this project. Thus, the Rallye Dansant, Student Services and Earth's Soap teams received an additional $250.
