Disciplined and tough, Kamala Harris is on her way to defeating Donald Trump

When Donald Trump faced Joe Biden, especially after his first assassination attempt, his fate was in his hands. It was up to him to lose or win the election.

The trend has now reversed. If this continues, Kamala Harris will be the first female president of the United States.

Progress confirmed

Opinion polls abound, both at the national level and in the famous pivotal states. In general, they confirm, week after week, the success of the Democratic campaign.

No, we are not talking about a wave, there will be no wave, but progress, even minimal, is steady. On The Hill, Harris's probability of winning is now estimated at 55%.

If she can count on overwhelming support from women and young people, Kamala Harris, aided by the presence of her vice presidential nominee, Tim Walz, is doing better than expected among white voters.

She is now ahead of her rival in six of the seven swing states. By refocusing her message, she expanded her support.

Respectable script for this message

Since entering the scene, Kamala Harris and her team have followed an elaborate game plan. Everything in its time.

At first, Kamala Harris was confined to party rallies and the euphoric cocoon of the convention, revealing herself fully during the debate.

During the interviews that followed, she initially stayed on the surface of the issues, before recently detailing her plan for the economy.

This last point was a burden on the candidate. But the Democratic strategy appears to be paying off, as Harris practically caught up with her rival when voters were asked about the candidates' ability to manage the economy well.

On Friday, democracy attacked its greatest weakness: borders. She will not lead the Republican on this issue, but if she remains disciplined, she may regain some decisive points in the opinion polls.

Project, trump hills

Donald Trump, stubborn and reckless, has been his own worst enemy for several weeks. The usual votes and empty slogans have little impact outside the party circle. However, it does nothing to correct the situation.

It is legitimate to wonder whether the Republican has not stabilized and no longer has clients whose support he can increase.

All that's left to do is hope we maintain the gains made among Spanish speakers and the Black community in 2020.

I have a hard time finding fault with Kamala Harris' campaign management. This does not guarantee her victory yet, but she avoids playing into her opponent's hands. Donald Trump has not yet understood this message.
