Kache, the Portuguese Water Dog, is the most beautiful dog in the world
The best of the best was chosen on Sunday at the start of the evening, after a thrilling final between the top ten contenders for the top title.
Four full days of judging dogs from around the world, 20,000 dogs, an average of 5,000 each day, were registered in two large adjoining halls at the Palexpo where the auto show usually takes place. Unheard of in Geneva, Switzerland.
Competitors were divided into ten groups, according to the official classification of breeds – from sheepdogs to companion dogs – including terriers, dachshunds and greyhounds. Ten winners will be chosen between Thursday and Sunday. We find them all this Sunday in the Ring of Honor for the final judge who will dedicate the best of the best, the “King” of this World Dog Show, 2023 edition.
This grand finale has its sole arbiter. Voodoo Laurent Bichar, head of the organizing committee for this exceptional event. He has the privilege of choosing the most beautiful dog in the world for a whole year. The verdict, which thousands of people have been waiting for at Palexpo and many more on the Internet, comes early Sunday evening.
The winner is the six-year-old Portuguese Water Dog. It comes from the Scandinavian breed. He’s ahead of a barely two-year-old English brown and white setter (the future is in front of him), as well as Aventencher (literally monkey griffin), the two other candidates for the top title soon to be completed. Before 7 p.m. 30, this platform is very high.
