Join us in the large gallery on an interactive journey through the history of biologically derived materials and find out how it's done they will become part of future construction, packaging, Fashion, daily life and more. The Growth Room will stand proudly in the center of the Great Gallery, an impressive architectural structure grown from wool and mycelium (the network of fungal roots).
Young explorers can discover all about the materials that make up their world in the specially created Zone 5 and Under.

Visit the Grand Exhibition from 9:00 to 10:00 before we open to the public and enjoy the Growing Home Exhibition in a more relaxed, less crowded environment. This session is intended primarily, but not limited to, for families with children with autism, Youth and adults with autism, Adults living with dementia, Adults and children with mental health problems, And any other visitors with sensory needs or who may prefer a more relaxed experience, as well as their family, friends and carers.
