A new chapter for the Louvre Hotel Group, with the arrival of Federico J. Gonzalez as CEO. He takes over from Pierre Frédéric Rouleau, who has led the group since 2007.
Federico J. González will also continue to serve as Executive Vice President at Radisson Hotel Group, both of which are owned by China’s Jingjiang.
Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group as CEO in 2017, Federico J. Gonzalez served as CEO of NH Hotel Group, leading the company’s transformation. He was previously Deputy General Manager of Disneyland Paris and spent 16 years in management roles at Procter & Gamble in Brussels, Madrid and Stockholm before becoming Managing Director of the Portuguese subsidiary in 2000.
Federico J. González holds a degree in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in International Trade and Finance from the École supérieure de commerce de Paris. Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. In January 2021, he became an independent member of the Sodexo Board of Directors. He is also the author of three books: Living and working abroad, how to live and work with the Portuguese and how to succeed in doing business the Swedish way.
The Louvre Hotel Group has approximately 1,700 hotels in 60 countries, from 1 to 5 stars with the historical brands of the Louvre Hotel Group: Première Classe, Kyriad, Kyriad Direct, Campanile, Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip, Royal Tulip; The five brands of the Sarovar network in India and the Hôtels et Préférence group. The group also has a distribution agreement with Lucien Barrière.
