The project “To take care of a little for our young children! »
This year it was held in three kindergartens (Jules Vallis, Alphonse Daoudet and Philip Arbus) and two nurseries (Croix de Nerat and Les Vergne). Three hundred and forty-four children between the ages of 0 and 6 years have benefited from this program.
Thomas Lachaise, a teacher in adaptive physical activity and health in private practice, Emmanuel Cayode, a psychologist in private practice, and Celia Girodi, a dietitian and nutritionist at Sens et savoirs, worked year-round within these structures.
They led workshops on food, physical activity or psychological movement for youngsters, and also addressed oral hygiene or rhythms of life. This is always associated with pleasure and enjoyment in order to reinforce, enhance and perpetuate practices.
Other activities, around walks and exchanges, intended for parents only, were an opportunity to discuss with health professionals
It was developed by Sens et savoirs, funded by ARS, supported by ASV in Clermont-Ferrand, and in close collaboration with various city departments and regional partners.
