Rib lovers have been eagerly awaiting the return of Trois-Rivières Ribfest! It took place from August 18th to 20th in the port garden of Trois-Rivières, after an absence of 3 years.
Visitors were able to benefit from the talents of 3 artisans from Cote Levi as well as take advantage of the wonderful atmosphere thanks to the good sponsorship of the Mariana Distillery and Broadway Pub.
Festival-goers can also sample Soif en Masse, Mr Méchoui and Cabane à chichis. The musicians were on hand to bring some sunshine to the rainy weekend: Stéphane Daoust, Denis Bouchard, the Little Great Blues, J Breyer, Alexandra Willett.
In order to gain access to the site, residents have been invited to make a voluntary contribution. The money raised during the three days of Ribfest is for the benefit of people with multiple sclerosis in Morrissey. The organization has raised $7,713, which will enable it to continue its mission and meet the needs of people affected by the disease in the Region.

Remember, multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves). It is an unpredictable disease that can manifest itself through the following symptoms: extreme fatigue, incoordination, weakness, tingling, disturbances of sensitivity, vision, bladder or cognitive function, and mood changes. It also has physical, emotional and financial ramifications. There is currently no cure for MS, but researchers are learning more every day about the causes of MS and are closer than ever to finding ways to combat the disease.
