From Monday, October 9 to Friday, October 13, like every year, the Gordon Digital Center participates in the Science Festival with workshops to introduce and discover Fablab machine tools and the digital world.
The Science Festival is a popular, free event that celebrates science, technology and innovations across the country.
In this new edition, sports and sporting practices will be in the spotlight as part of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
Sport occupies a central place in daily life and in society in general. It is distinguished by its widespread presence on the social, economic, and media levels, and today also on the scientific and digital levels.
3D printing has not only improved the daily lives of many people with disabilities, but has also proven to be a valuable asset for disabled athletes and high-level athletes.
In the program… open days and an exhibition throughout the week, about 3D printing for the benefit of people with disabilities by discovering some examples of what exists in 3D printing produced by falabs or companies, with an exhibition and videos at the headquarters of the Digital Center. e-NABLE brings together makers from all over the world to 3D print prosthetic hands, arms and legs, free of charge for people in need, often children.
