‘I Love Science’ campaign attracted around 17,000 visitors over the weekend at Tours & Taxis

The fifth edition of the “I Love Science” festival, held from October 13 to 15 on the Tours & Taxis website in Brussels, attracted about 17 thousand people, the organizers of the free event dedicated to science said in a press release on Monday.

Throughout the weekend, the public was able to enjoy a rich program of “original and fun” activities on an area of ​​​​more than 11,500 square metres, from a flying display presented by the hoverboard world record holder to a simulation of the city of the future thanks to Lego and artificial intelligence, including a reproduction simulator. Northern Lights via an art installation, Innoviris and visit.brussels are happily included in the project asset.

In total, 60 stands welcomed the audience in seven thematic hangars on the Tour & Taxis website. A series of original activities were also presented in eight science trucks located outside. The event also hosted conferences and discussions with Belgian aviation specialists.

A study day was also organized on the first day. The festival also aims to give young people a taste for science and thus encourage new careers, said the organizers of the I Love Science festival.
