Originally from Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo is fluent in his native language, Portuguese, and has already developed his English language skills during his first spell at Manchester United.
The 38-year-old striker has enjoyed incredible success under Sir Alex Ferguson’s management at Old Trafford, including three Premier League titles and the Champions League.
In 2009, Ronaldo joined Real Madrid for £80 million at the time, and the Portuguese star won several titles with the La Liga club.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner became acquainted with the Spaniard during his time in the capital before moving to Juventus for £99.2m.
Ronaldo won the Italian Cup and two Italian league titles with the old lady before his crushing return to United, which ended in 2022 before he signed with Al-Nassr.
A fan-made compilation shows Ronaldo speaking a wide range of different languages, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.
However, fans were surprised when the clip showed the United and Madrid legend speaking in Russian.
Ronaldo previously dated Russian model Irina Shayk before they split in 2015, with the Portugal captain currently dating Georgina Rodriguez.
“I didn’t expect Cristiano to speak Russian (very little too), damn it,” said one fan.
Another person added, “I would like to check his Russian language skills.”
Another wrote, “I didn’t know he could speak Russian.”
A fourth commented: “His language is Russian [est] Not bad, though.”
While one fan said: “Cristiano Ronaldo speaks a few Russian words because he was in a relationship with Russian model and actress Irina Shayk for a few years!”
