Jose Mourinho is a good customer of the media. The Portuguese is unpredictable and can provide journalists with some great moments. Proof of this is the usual press conference, scheduled to be held 24 hours before the important match between Tottenham and Manchester City, scheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 pm.
The private player clearly expected to be questioned about the transfer window, thus pulling the rug out from under the journalists… by giving his own interview, with questions and answers. “Question 1: Are you expecting a final boost? Answer 1: No.”Mourinho said, causing journalists to laugh. Then continue. “The second question: Are you satisfied with the transfer period? The second answer: Yes, I am satisfied.” He continued with a smile.
The press conference was then able to resume and resulted in an admission: Mourinho was hoping to get an extra striker. The club appointed Steven Bergwijn (PSV) and Gedson Fernandes (Benfica) this winter and sit sixth in the Premier League.
