That includes waiting hours in line for a courtroom seat on a Tuesday afternoon.
Journalist Brittany Krejsten posted on Twitter a photo of several reporters sitting or standing in line between a fence and a police barricade around 3am.
According to Kriegstein, the reporters had pizza boxes, lawn chairs, and blankets to be comfortable while they waited when they were allowed into the courtroom.
For journalists who haven’t made it to the top of the queue, an independent news outlet calling itself “Hell Gate NY” is ready to sell its place. In an article posted on their website, the journalist said he was willing to give up his spot, which he had waited for at 6 p.m., for $10,000.
However, there didn’t seem to be any takers.
A ticket to impeach Trump is also highly desirable, as no live broadcasts, cell phones or computers are allowed in the courtroom during impeachment.
Only five photographers will be allowed to take pictures shortly before the lawsuit begins. However, they will be removed from the courtroom from 2:15 in the afternoon.
