Four months after the Monte Carlo Rally, Sebastien Loeb and Sebastien Ogier are set to meet again in Rally Portugal next month.
Sebastien Loeb never stops. He has competed in the Ride Rally World Championship, which he chairs, and in the Extreme E Championship, Alsatian recently announced that it will participate – at least – in two DTM rounds with AF Corse’s Ferrari 488 team, in Portimao (April 29 – May 1) and at Lausitzring (20 -22 May) as he will replace New Zealander Nick Cassidy.

“When you look at the coming months: the first DTM race, the Extreme ELive, the World Rally-Raid Championship… and maybe more”, was also amused by the nine-time world champion. The message that made Sebastien Ogier react. “Come Seb, don’t be shy… Announce this Portugal rally 🇵🇹!! The date we have a little fun », fired a response. It suffices to suggest that the two opponents – 17 World Mathematics world champions between them – should meet in Portugal for a new duel.

In January, the two men honored the Monte Carlo Rally with their attendance, with an unforgettable duel won by Sebastien Loeb. Leading the attack on the final day, Sebastien Ogier had seen victory eluding him with a hole in the penultimate stage. With his new assistant Isabelle Galmich, the Alsatians presented themselves with an 80th victory in the World Rally Championship and an eighth in Monte Carlo, equaling the record of success in the principality held by its rival.
