On May 25, the Portuguese Liscar Association, in partnership with the musical group Sigma, organizes a Portuguese solidarity evening at the Gérard Forget Hall in Lons. The profits will be donated to the Recreational Association of the Portuguese of Lens in order to rebuild the house whose roof collapsed in August 2023.
A festive evening, starting at 7pm, with royal paella cooked by Les Petits Plats de Mano (€15 excluding drinks upon reservation and €8 menu for under 12s). The meal will be followed from 9pm by Portuguese folk dances and music hosted by the GFP Alegria do Minho band from Pau and its music group As Concertinas de Alegria do Minho. The evening concludes with a dance party with Sigma starting at 10pm.
Valentin Fernández, Deputy Secretary and Director of Communications of the Portuguese Entertainment Association of Lens, thanked “the caterer, the two associations as well as the musical group, without forgetting the city of Lens for loaning the room to make this evening possible.”
