Look up at the sky and spot the stars, that’s what you can do on Sunday, July 31 at 9 p.m. by going to Mansonville Village Hall and Village Square.
This evening will be hosted by Thomas Benech “Polaris”. It targets young and old. It is not necessary to know anything about astronomy, but it is simply a matter of having a fun evening under the stars and orienting yourself. The first part will be shown on the big screen, where you will be completely immersed in a spacecraft leaving Earth in order to move away from it.
The highlight of the evening will take onlookers to the village square, which is pitch-dark for the occasion.
Using the green laser, some concepts will be developed and the brightest stars, the main constellations, the Milky Way and the planets will be identified, then the observation using the telescope (250 mm) will come with observing the planets and star clusters, nebulae and galaxies, which each of them in turn will observe through the eyepiece of the instrument. Evening without reservation, free subscription. Come discover the universe in Mansonville.
