A total of 48 new circuits will be added to the game by the end of 2023. The third wave of the circuit booster arcade launched today. Today, December 7, 2022. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gets custom item settings
What does the new update bring? With the new free update, you can decide for yourself in Races vs. Other Games which items will or won’t appear in the race. Today this function is also available in online mode. In plain English, this means that you can now play races by your own rules.
For example, you can have all players have only red or blue tanks at all times. Thus, the havoc it can now cause on the tracks with the new update will be more than amazing. You can also disable hateful elements to make playbacks to your liking.
Team races and battles: In addition, you can now assign different items to certain groups. For example, one group will only receive green tanks, while the other group will only receive red tanks. Once again, your imagination and mayhem on the racetracks have no limits. With freely chosen items, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe finally gets the edge fans have always wanted.
Why is the update only coming now? Perhaps only Nintendo can answer that question. The way the manufacturer announces the new functionality is also very atypical. There have been no more than two tweets about it, although the update brings an important feature and big changes. We’ve included Nintendo’s tweet here.
But in addition to the surprise update, today’s new DLC update from 2:00 PM introduces some new circuits. In our corresponding article, we give you an overview of all the tracks in Wave 3 of the Booster Track Pass in Mario Kart 8.
