Senior students from Bordell High School will complete their internship at a company near Valencia and Lisbon at the beginning of 2023.
For three years, the Antoine Bourdelle Vocational High School has offered final-year Vocational Department students the opportunity to complete their internship at a company in Spain in Val d’Oixo (near Valencia) and in Portugal, in Almada (near Lisbon). This European mobility makes it possible to create, build and sustain a culture oriented towards Europe and the world
In collaboration with IES Botanic Cavanilles and Escola Profisional de Almada, and thanks to European funding from the Erasmus + programme, 12 young people will attempt this adventure from January 6 to February 15, 2023. They and their parents have been invited to sign their financial documents and educational contracts in the presence of teachers supporting the project and Ludwig Robert, headmaster. Thus, 2 Professional Baccalaureate Fashion students, 4 Professional Commerce/Sales Baccalaureate students, 2 Administrative Management students, 2 Baccalaureate students specializing in Vehicle Maintenance, and 2 Digital Systems students will be welcomed in Spanish or Portuguese companies to complete their training, master their language skills, Immerse yourself in the culture New and learning how to live independently. They will share on-site accommodation and manage daily life thanks to an Erasmus grant that allows them to cover their total costs (mainly accommodation, travel and various means of transportation). Teachers and education staff from Borrowdale High School will provide regular on-site supervision to secure young people’s pathway or follow-up training within partner institutions. Starting in March, Spanish and Portuguese students will come to Montauban and will be hosted for internships at Montauban companies.
