MSI has just unveiled the MS-C907, a mini PC designed specifically for industrial applications. Its small size (200 x 150 x 55 mm) allows it to be integrated into space-constrained environments, making it suitable for deployment in factories, control rooms, or even inside vehicles.
The MS-C907 offers a wide range of DC power (9~36V) for greater flexibility in power supply options, ensuring reliable operation even in non-standard power environments. Two display outputs (DisplayPort and HDMI) provide configuration options for connection to monitors or industrial control panels.
Connectivity options include 4 USB 3.2 ports for high-speed data transfer, 6 USB 2.0 ports for compatibility with existing devices, 2 COM ports for serial communication with industrial equipment, and 8 GPIO ports for general purpose I/O functions. This array of ports allows the MS-C907 to integrate into a variety of industrial control and automation systems.
Network security and performance are taken care of with two LAN ports that provide 2.5Gbps speeds for fast data transfer and TPM 2.0 support for hardware encryption, helping to protect sensitive industrial areas of data. The system is designed to withstand harsh environments, operating reliably in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 55°C. This wide operating temperature range allows the MS-C907 to operate in factories, warehouses, or even transportation applications without performance degradation (due to extreme temperatures).
Users have the option to choose between: Intel Core i3-N305 And Intel N97 processor (Code name: Alder Lake N). While the N305 has a lower base frequency of 1.80GHz compared to the N97’s 2.00GHz, it has a higher turbo frequency of 3.80GHz.
