The first image revealed Monday night of a galactic field could allow scientists to better understand the past and formation of galaxies.

“It’s like a time machine. We will be able to see images that show the formation of the first galaxies … a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. So the images that we will see will be able to go back more than 13 billion years in the past,” says Director of Development Space exploration at the Canadian Space Agency, Eric Dupuy.
Thanks to infrared technology and a stable climate, the James Webb Telescope was able to capture the deepest images in the universe.
“Imagine you are holding a grain of sand at an arm’s length. And the size of the image you see is the size of a grain of sand there. So it is very small in terms of field of view. Despite everything, what we see in the image, as you can see, we see hundreds and hundreds of galaxies sending Our image comes from the depths of the universe,” says Mr. Dupuy.
