This situation has angered Portuguese tourists who have not yet resolved their problems. Visitors said that the quality of services inside the complex left the desired level, denouncing the lack of hygiene and non-compliance with health standards, which led to 48 members of the group contracting gastroenteritis and 18 members of the same family suffering from serious health complications. Two of them were hospitalized upon their return to Portugal.

Following these complaints, Abrou had to make a drastic decision to protect his reputation. This justified the cancellation of trips to Al Hoceima and the removal of all promotions for the region from the travel agency’s website.
