Swedish band Ghost announced after their concert in Paris that they are coming to the Hellfest Open Air metal festival on Saturday 18 June.
Tobias Forge, the man behind the Ghost character and singer Papa Emeritus, barely made it off the Accor Arena on the night of April 18-19, made a thunderous announcement. Indeed, the Swedish group will be making headlines on Saturday 18 June at the upcoming Hellfest Open Air. So he will replace Faith No More, who had to cancel his visit for health reasons.

And so Ghost joins Deftones, Gojira, Scorpions, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses and Metallica among the festival’s headlines. After two years of a health crisis, during which the festival did not take place, the organizers decided to organize a double edition. The first weekend will take place from 17 to 19 June, while the second will take place from 23 to 26 June.
After some label changes, Hellfest will give metal the lead with Megadeth, Korn, Helloween, Nightwish and Judas Priest. However, there will also be punk icons like The Offspring and The Dropkick Murphys, hard rock bands like Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Airbourne and Danko Jones, as well as bands from other rock fields like Blues Pills, Rival Sons or Ayron Jones.
