Ogier shines in Portugal

On Sunday afternoon, Frenchman Sebastien Ogier, at the wheel of his Toyota, officially won the WRC Rally in Portugal.

Sébastien Ogier is no longer stopping. This Sunday, the Frenchman, driving his Toyota, won the WRC Rally in Portugal, three weeks after winning the Croatian Rally. This is the sixtieth victory in his career in the same category, and the sixth in the same rally. No other driver in history has been able to prove himself like him in Portugal.

Moreover, before him, only his compatriot Sébastien Loeb reached the same level of 60 World Rally Championship victories, with Loeb's total standing at 80. Throughout this weekend, Ogier, the eight-time World Rally Champion who topped the overall standings on Saturday, after the exit of his Finnish teammate Kalle Rovanpera, dominated his rivals.

Fourmaux ranks fourth in Portugal

Estonian Ott Tanak, second in the final general classification, failed to drive his Hyundai, despite everything, less than eight seconds away from victory. Third place went to Belgian Thierry Neuville, also resident of the Hyundai team, who seized the opportunity to do very well in the general classification. World Championship in the same discipline.
