As for Cristiano Ronaldo, Bayern don’t seem to want to change their mind. The president of the German club once again expressed Munich’s position on the file.
For weeks with Bayern Munich, Ronaldo will not see his wish come true. Eager to leave Old Trafford and play for a top club in the Champions League race, the Portuguese star must start to forget Bayern’s trajectory.
Indeed, according to Echo Fabrizio Romano, Bayern president Olivier Kahn has finally set aside a potential move for the Portuguese.
“We discussed Cristiano Ronaldo internally – I consider him one of the greatest footballers of all time. Then we came to the conclusion that although Cristiano is appreciated, he would not fit into our philosophy in the current situation.”
Therefore, the doors of Bayern Munich were closed in front of the five-a-side Ballon d’Or.
