OM leaders are working on the tracks of technicians who could potentially replace Igor Tudor. The Croatian has already announced his departure a few days before the final day of Ligue 1. To replace him, several names are being circulated, including that of the Ligue 1 coach.
According to the information reported by journalist Marouane Belkacem, the Fujanis put the name of Paulo Fonseca (Lille) at the top of the shortlist. The Portuguese, who remains committed to his club, could be the subject of a transfer. OM will be ready to redeem his last year of commitment.
“Nothing is done, OM has other leads”
“The interest was confirmed again yesterday on the part of the Portuguese coach who was also courted in England. The advantage of OM may be the fact that he will not be at the top of his servants’ shortlist. (…) Nothing is done, OM has other ways”In particular, the journalist noted on Twitter.

Paulo Fonseca’s team finished fifth in the Ligue 1 table this season. Its players have recorded 21 victories, 10 draws and 10 defeats in 41 matches in all competitions. An honorable season, given the number of departures in the summer of 2022 (Sven Putman, Amadou Onana, Renato Sanchez, Zeki Celik, etc.).
The Portuguese is not a priori the only technician that Marseille follows. Pablo Longoria, David Frio and Javier Ribalta are also said to be eyeing Andoni Iraola, who has taken the reins at Rayo Vallecano this season. The profile of the Spaniard is reminiscent of that of Igor Tudor, who, after a successful mission, arrived in Hellas Verona.
Other names cited by Parisian Targets will be Marcelo Gallardo (free), Vincenzo Italiano (Fiorentina) and Raffaele Palladino (Monza). Discussions are even underway with the Argentine, who left River Plate a few months ago.
