Under the responsibility of the Head of Department – Public Services, the person holding this position welcomes customers and provides general information about the various activities and services offered by the municipality. It implements customer subscriptions, facilitates access to library documents, ensures that documents are loaned and returned, verifies and classifies them, and collects various fees according to established procedures. It informs customers of the library's regulations and ensures they comply with them. Participates in the development and implementation of activities provided by the library.

requirements

High school diploma (DES) or equivalent;
At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service related position;
Recruitment experience (assets);
Knowledge of software and IT tools inherent to the job;
Knowledge of the literary sector (originals);
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (assets);
Comfortable in a computerized environment and with the use of the Internet.

Working conditions

The schedule is approximately 15 hours per week, depending on service needs and without a set schedule. Attendance is required on Saturday and Sunday plus one evening per week. Availability during the day during the week will be considered an asset for replacement when needed.

For reference, the salary range is $24.07 to $28.31 per hour. The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion applies a salary integration rule that takes into account the candidate's directly relevant experience profile.
