The Mégantic region will once again be a prime place to view the Perseids.
It is a meteor shower visible in the Earth's atmosphere, formed from debris from Comet Swift-Tuttle. These meteors can be observed from approximately July 20 to August 25. The best time of year for this is from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, August 12.
In the area, inclined benches can be accessed in the panoramic rest areas on the summit road to enjoy the phenomenon.
